Do take note that most studio or bridal shops grade their wedding and evening gowns to different category ranges. Be sure to check with the sales person. It will be better to have a glance on the gowns, or even better, get an idea on which type of gowns you wish for before signing up a package. Make sure the gowns range they offer meet your expectations. Else, there will be charges (and it’s not cheap) when you wish to upgrade your gown later.
  2. Groom suits (Quantity, grade): Groom suits may not be a big problem most of the time. But do ask about the offer that included in your package.

  3. Pre-wedding photos in Photo book / album (Quantity, E-design?): Confirm the quantity of photos that can be included in your wedding photo book. Ask if there is any design included to the photos in the photo book. (Photo book design means there is photo edition work made to allow your photo book looks more attractive and interesting, else the default would be 1 photo in 1 page of the photo album). Make sure the photos included in the package is more than the number of pages of photo book for design purpose.
  4. Softcopy / CD of the chosen photos (file size, photo edition): Ask if the package covers softcopy of all the photos that you have selected. This will be a must to have if you want to share the photo with your friends and family over the internet. Ask about the file type (whether the photos will be compressed), and whether they are edited photos. Make sure the softcopy contains photos with uncompressed photo (big resolution for slideshow) and with photo edition when you sign the package. Some important note to take when discussing a wedding package with the sales person:
  • Do make sure whatever your requests that he/she agree on is written down clear in your invoice. The items that you will get are based on the written invoice and not the promises made verbally.
  • If your found there is offer in the package that you may not need, ask for a price deduction. Else ask for a replacement such as an increase of photo or more gowns.
  • If you found anything in the list above that you would like to have but is not included in your package, ask for it. And decide if you really need it
  • Do not simply sign up a wedding package of very few items (unless you really want it to be that simple). There will be a huge amount of cost (can be a few thousands to a few tens of thousands) if you are being charged for upgrading or adding photos.
